Dark Bee Breeders’ Automn seminar

The Finnish Dark Bee Keepers’ Association organises a seminar for its members and all interested on Saturday 7 October 2023. Participation and all servings during the coffee break are free of charge.

10.00 Update on the work of the Finnish Natural Research Institute LUKE to support native bee conservation in Finland: P. Tuunainen, LUKE
10.30 Apis mellifera mellifera conservation in Austria: M. Rubinigg, Austria
12.00 Lunch (at participant’s own cost)
13.00 Practice of herd bookkeeping and its management in conservation and breeding work: M. Rubinigg, Austria

You can bring your dark bee honey for tasting at the seminar. You can also bring your own samples of bee wings or bees (30-35 pcs) so that the association can perform an expert wing analysis for you during the automn.
